New York Yankees vs. Boston Red Sox

Yes, this is just spring training. Yes, a few players from both teams are participating in the World Baseball Classic. No, the outcome of this game will not have any bearing whatsoever on which team will win the (a) American League pennant or (b) World Series. But it’s still the Yankees vs. the Red Sox, so it will be a battle!

When: Tonight at 7:05 P.M.
Where: Ft. Meyers, FL

Play nice, boys. Remember…this game doesn’t REALLY count…so try not to kill each other!

UPDATE: end of the 4th inning — Red Sox 7, Yankees 4

Oh goodie, a pitchers duel!

UPDATE 2: 8th inning, still 7-4. I’m cracking up at the way the commentators on the MLB Network broadcast (from NESN, I assume) are making fun (rightly so) of the way Kei Igawa was “jogging” on the warning track. I’m a short, chunky, over-40-year-old broad, and I could probably outrun Igawa! LMAO

Thanks for the advice and encouragement, Mark. I guess I should take the plunge and investigate Twitter. I’m not really sure what it is or how to post a “tweet”…guess I’ll figure it out! LOL
Mets Go, the Red Sox vs. the Yankees is always a big game. This one is no exception, even though it’s just spring training. I still hope they don’t kill each other…save that for when the games actually count!

Indeed, Greg. Final score: Pawtucket 8, Scranton-Wilkes Barre 4. A real pitcher’s duel there! Ah, spring training…..
