The (really big) house that Jeter built

No, I’m not talking about the new Yankee Stadium. Tampa Bay Online reported last week that Derek Jeter is building a seven-bedroom, nine-bathroom house on Davis Islands. When it’s completed, the house will be 30,875 square feet. To illustrate the size of the house, the article points out that the average Best Buy store is 39,700 square feet. The cost of the property alone is $7.7 million.

Peter Abraham at The LoHud Yankees Blog added his own spin on the story:

In other news, A-Rod announced plans to build a house that is 30,876 square feet.

LMAO! I love Peter Abraham!
